January 2019 Review:
“I haven’t needed to use Nathaniel’s service for some time. My laptop broke due to an update, I phoned, he responded and collected my laptop early the following morning & dropped it back again, later that evening. Service is second to none ! Open over 7 years and still going!
We’ve been repairing laptop and desktop PCs, Apple Macs, internet issues, website designing, IT tutoring in and arounds Horncastle since 6th April 2012. We’ve traveled further than we thought we would, starting in Horncastle and going to Woodhall Spa, Tattershall, Spilsby…and further to Louth, Wragby, Burgh le Marsh, Stickney, Billinghay…and even some jobs in Boston, Sleaford and Lincoln. Would like to say thank you to all customers old and new. Every fix and every bit of advice, we hope it’s be of benefit. The best piece of advice we can currently offer is: BACK UP REGULARLY!! Please, we have seen so many encryption virus’ recently – it’s so easy to loose all your data.

Microsoft ended support for Windows XP on 8th March 2014. It’s a shame as it was a great operating system, but nothing lasts forever. End-of-life means there will be no more security updates and support for it in general from Microsoft. Other companies are also taking the same stance and one can’t blame them for not supporting something that was released in 2001! So, it’s probably time to upgrade – seriously recommended. Not the end of the world though…we can help you move forward, just give us a call or contact us for a chat if you like.
